I have been following their journey because my heart goes out to international orphans, or any orphans, for that matter. And as Christians, God commands us to have a place in our hearts for the poor, widows and orphans (Psalm 82:3-4).

Wow...thanks for the great post. It came at a funny time for me. I had started a post yesterday about adoption, and then tonight after reading you and Katie Kilpatrick's blogs, I changed it up a little and then finally posted it.
Thanks for your thoughts, and thanks for calling attention to the need. It is an amazing process to adopt. My cousins Ellen (Bell) and Breagan Enright (do you remember them from McMurry?) adopted a little boy from Ethiopia and it has been the biggest blessing. We are thinking about doing it too.
